CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years is seeking an experienced Equipment Qualification Technician III to support equipment validation, qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This hands‑on role is ideal for professionals with experience performing Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ), troubleshooting industrial equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field required. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience may be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Execute IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols for new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Perform equipment testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and performance verification.
- Document qualification activities, deviations, corrective actions, and validation results.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies such as FMEA, Six Sigma, DMAIC, DOE, Hypothesis Tree, and Fishbone Analysis.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to ensure equipment readiness and compliance.
- Train equipment operators on proper setup and operating procedures.
- Support audits and maintain compliance with ISO, GMP, GLP, OSHA, and internal quality standards.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements.
- 3+ years of experience in equipment qualification, validation, manufacturing support, or a similar technical role.
- Hands‑on experience with IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and equipment validation.
- Knowledge of equipment calibration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, GLP, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Manufacturing, laboratory, and cleanroom environments.
- Must be able to work onsite in Newton, NC.
- Ability to safely inspect, test, and work with manufacturing equipment.
- PPE required as applicable.
- Work is performed in manufacturing, laboratory, and cleanroom environments.
- Physical ability to inspect, test, and work with manufacturing equipment is required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Must be able to follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
