City of Newton, NC is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator II to perform heavy labor and skilled equipment operation for repairing and maintaining streets, sidewalks, stormwater pipes, and city structures. You will operate asphalt roller, street sweeper, forklift, backhoe, and dump trucks, lay pipe, erect signs, and patch surfaces.
Required:
high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of equipment experience, valid NC CDL‑B, and First Aid/ CPR certification; strong safety sense and teamwork to work
