Corning is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to drive operational excellence across 24/7 warehouse operations. Partnering closely with supply chain and operations supervisors, you'll lead the hourly workforce, ensure shift-to-shift consistency, and own key functions including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse optimization.
Primary day-to-day responsibilities include adjusting staffing and equipment assignments to optimize material flow and operational efficiency; managing time and attendance for accurate payroll processing; identifying process bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies; leading corrective actions and implementing improvements; supporting inventory management, shipping and receiving, warehouse optimization, and cutting operations; proactively identifying and addressing safety concerns; maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with ISO standards;
leading implementation of process and procedure changes across assigned areas; and ensuring all team members receive timely, role-appropriate training and development.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field; or 7+ years of leadership experience in an operations environment; and 2+ years of warehouse experience. Desired qualifications include SAP or comparable ERP system experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience using capacity models for staffing and processing planning; and familiarity with ISO standards and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen).
This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $75,761.00 - $ assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
