Are you a Procurement professional ready to step up into a role where you'll lead a team and genuinely influence how procurement is run?

You’ll join a pharmaceutical manufacturing site where procurement plays a key role in keeping production on track. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing critical raw materials including APIs and excipients, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating the agreements that protect supply and control costs.

Alongside the commercial aspect, you’ll lead a team of 3 buyers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys developing others, sharing knowledge, and building a dependable procurement function while still being involved in day-to-day decisions.

This role would suit someone with a modern leadership approach, who is comfortable improving systems and processes, and genuinely interested in building something long term!

• Lead and develop a team of 3 procurement professionals
• Source and purchase APIs and excipients
• Manage supplier negotiations and key relationships
• Support improvements to procurement processes and day-to-day ways of working

• Pharmaceutical procurement or purchasing background
• Experience sourcing APIs and excipients
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Currently in a Senior Buyer or Lead role ready for management
