* We are seeking an experienced Foundations Manager / Superintendent with approximately 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction. Ideal candidates will have strong technical exposure to highway, bridge, marine, industrial, and deep foundation projects including drilled shafts, micropiles, H-piles, sheet piling, and tieback systems.
Successful candidates demonstrate strong leadership ability, proactive problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a consistent commitment to jobsite safety and operational excellence.
** Key Responsibilities*
* + Lead, direct, and motivate field crews to execute daily work activities
+ Ensure all jobsite operations meet or exceed safety standards
+ Provide forepersons with necessary tools, materials, equipment, and project information
+ Track subcontractor performance while managing schedule and budget expectations
+ Interpret project plans and specifications related to assigned scopes of work
+ Monitor productivity and cost performance for assigned tasks
+ Implement QA/QC processes to maintain high construction quality standards
+ Oversee all construction-related site operations for assigned projects
+ Proactively identify and respond to changing site conditions and project challenges
+ Manage documentation including submittals, material tracking, and project records
+ Prepare and submit weekly safety reports
+ Plan and manage manpower requirements
+ Support construction design efforts including lift plans and work plans
+ Review survey data, drawings, and site documentation to support project planning
+ Manage budgets and job cost performance with field leadership
+ Review and analyze job cost reports for foundation-related scopes
+ Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations
+ Track and support claims related to foundation work
** Position Requirements*
* + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
+ Approximately 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with strong foundation work expertise
+ Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments
+ Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry best practices, equipment operation, and QA/QC processes
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
+ Valid driver's license
+ Ability to support local and regional project assignments (within 1-2 hours travel)
** Preferred Qualifications*
* + OSHA 10-Hour Certification
+ Marine construction experience
