• Ensuring daily compliance and resolving daily construction related issues.
• Ensuring quality in all inspections in an efficient manner.
• Managing team assignments and balancing workload in a deadline driven environment.
• Providing vision and guidance to the firm in the area of inspections.
• Providing technical assistance to staff and clients in resolving problems.
• Verifying that materials, equipment, and procedures are as specific for the project, as well as testing of procedure qualification test results.
• Building and managing client relationships.
• Leading projects to ensure they are on‑schedule and on budget.
• Communicating with clients, contractors, other inspectors and supervisors regarding specifications and qualifications.
• Reviewing shop drawings and onsite safety and quality of construction work per the contract specifications.
• Mentoring and developing staff.
• Traveling to work sites.
• Preparing written reports in accordance with qualification tests.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or similar discipline.
• 10 years’ experience in inspections engineering in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• Valid driver’s license.
• E.I.T. license required.
• PE license preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Independent and critical thinking abilities.
• The ability to work logically and systematically, with good time management.
• Basic IT literacy and the ability to manage and communicate electronic data.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, plus the ability to speak laterally.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and with team members.

The salary range for this position is $80k110k.
