Senior Network Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a leading organization in the technology services industry. The Senior Network Engineer role is ideal for an experienced engineer with deep expertise in DNAC/Catalyst Center, Software‑Defined Access, advanced routing, and Catalyst 9000 platforms.

• Lead the design, deployment, and troubleshooting of Cisco Software‑Defined Access architectures, including LISP, SDA fabric components, micro‑segmentation, and DNAC/ISE integrations
• Oversee provisioning, assurance, and ongoing operations/maintenance of Cisco DNAC / Catalyst Center environments
• Architect and implement enterprise‑scale solutions using the Cisco Catalyst 9000 switch family (9200‑CX, 9300, 9500, 9600)
• Support and optimize complex IPv4/IPv6 routing infrastructures leveraging BGP, IS‑IS, and OSPF
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to customers, delivering best‑practice guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Cisco DNAC / Catalyst Center (provisioning, assurance, and operations/maintenance)
• 2+ years of experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting Software‑Defined Access, including all core SDA components and integrations
• Demonstrated expertise with the Cisco Catalyst 9000 switching portfolio
• Strong background in IPv4/IPv6 routing technologies including BGP, IS‑IS, and OSPF
• Proven ability to operate in a consulting capacity and work directly with customer stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions in complex environments

• Salary range: $135,000 - $155,000
