Overview
LSAC’s mission is to advance law and justice by promoting access, equity, and fairness in law school admission, to broaden the pathway into legal education, and to support law schools, law students, and the legal education community.
Pay rate: $87,000 to $94,000, depending on experience
As a member of the Infrastructure Team, the Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the administration and operational support of enterprise infrastructure platforms. The infrastructure includes Microsoft Windows Server, Office 365 suite, Azure, Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, disaster recovery and the overall network infrastructure. Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for maintaining patch management systems, monitoring and daily maintenance of the physical and virtual infrastructure.
The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for participating in team planning, development and implementation of networking systems. The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for documentation of systems, components, maintenance and support of on-premise and cloud-based systems.

- Provide support and maintenance of the network environment and security platforms
- Monitor the infrastructure and respond to issues and problems
- Proactively recommend and implement processes improvements
- Work closely with developers and consultants in assessing needs and supporting goals
- Responsible for maintenance and support of servers, hosts and virtual machines
- Provide off-hours support for the network environment, customers and employees when required
- Implement solutions designed by senior engineers and architects
- Resolve infrastructure incidents and problems
- Perform upgrades, patching, monitoring, and maintenance
- Participate in technology projects
- Create and maintain documentation

- Contributes to infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing
- Works under general supervision while exercising sound judgment within defined guidelines
- Collaborates closely with Infrastructure teammates, developers, consultants, and cross-functional partners
- Adapts to changing priorities and participates in continuous improvement efforts
