Pickering Manor is the premier center for Senior Living in Newtown, Bucks County, PA. We are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents through a variety of services including Independent Living, Personal Care, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. We have a standard of senior care in the area for over 60 years! We are looking to expand our team with people who are dedicated to providing quality care to our residents.

As a Registered Nurse Supervisor at Pickering Manor, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to our senior residents. This position is essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents while supporting their daily health needs.

We are recruiting candidates for part-time opportunities.

We have openings in our Skilled Nursing units for our night shift, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

We offer a shift differential of $2.50 for working nights.

You are eligible for medical benefits the first of the month after your date of hire. You also start accruing Paid Time Off (PTO) on their first day of employment. After 60 days, you are eligible for vision and dental insurance. You are also, at that time, automatically enrolled in our life, AD&D, STD, and LTD plans at no cost to you.

Our 401(K) plan offers an employer match on your contributions, 50 cents on every dollar you contribute up to five percent of your annual salary.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist with daily living activities and support residents' personal hygiene needs.
  • Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Educate residents and their families about health management and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of nursing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, residents, and families.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
