Fireplace Service Technician

Newtown Fireplace Shop is looking for a skilled and dependable Fireplace Service Technician to join our team in Newtown, PA! In this hands‑on role, you'll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fireplaces safe, efficient, and beautiful. • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on gas, wood-burning, and electric fireplace systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot fireplace and chimney issues to ensure safe and proper operation
• Install fireplace inserts, gas logs, and related components per manufacturer specifications
• Conduct chimney cleaning, venting inspections, and flue assessments
• Communicate findings and service recommendations clearly to customers
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines

• Prior experience in fireplace service, HVAC, chimney sweeping, or a related trade preferred
• Knowledge of gas, wood-burning, and/or electric fireplace systems
• NFI (National Fireplace Institute) certification is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and prioritize tasks efficiently
