Engineering Manager II

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager II

to act as a subject matter expert within Software, System, and Test Engineering.

You will work in Newtown, PA and various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.

• Ensure optimal distribution of personnel and associated resources across projects to meet deadlines and objectives, both for clients and internal projects
• Work with delivery managers, the resourcing team, and other resource managers to anticipate future resource needs based on project pipelines and organizational goals
• Implement and design software including but not limited to applications based on event driven architecture, asynchronous message oriented architecture, and standard client-server architecture. This includes overseeing the analysis of user requirements to improve release cadence and software quality, identifying leverage points to preserve application quality, reviewing feedback from applicable stakeholders to determine production eligibility, serving as a technology subject matter expert, performing system analysis and design of key solutions, analyzing risks and suggesting avoidance activities, establishing contingency plans, and forming backup/workaround solutions and corrective actions.
• Directly communicate with the client's business department
• Manage client escalations and act as an expert point of evaluation of operations-related services
• Lead all phases of a project

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any field), Computer Science, Information Technology, or Systems Networks and Engineering; plus 5 years of employment experience in the job offered (Engineering Manager II), Software Engineering Team Leader, Systems Engineering Manager, Systems Engineering Team Leader, Software/Solution Architect, Software Consultant, Application Development Manager, Software Developer, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Technical Project Manager, Application Development Team Lead, Testing Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Application Support Engineer, Computer Programmer, IT Developer, or closely related occupation.
• Using at least one of the following: GCP, Azure, AWS, or .NET to develop and design software applications
• Using at least one of the following programming languages:
  Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Golang, or Swift in developing software applications
• Maintaining enterprise-grade software application solutions using at least one of the following SCM tools:
  Git or Docker
• Utilizing Agile methodology
