The Position

Serving as a true extension of the sales team while leading a customer-focused sales administration and customer service function, this role supports sales growth, strengthens distributor relationships, and ensures consistent, high-quality customer experience across direct and distributor sales channels. The Manager will supervise the daily operations of a small team of Customer Service & Sales Support Administrators and lead, manage, and direct all customer service activities.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as an extension of the sales team, supporting daily sales activities and enabling sales growth
  • Lead, coach, and develop a sales administration and customer service team supporting direct and distributor channels
  • Establish customer service standards, workflows, and communication practices that deliver consistent customer experience
  • Own sales administration processes from quotation through order entry and invoicing
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting using ERP systems and CRM tools
  • Strengthen distributor relationships and enhance long-term customer loyalty
  • Serve as the escalation point for customer and distributor issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Coordinate closely with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and finance teams
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales support and customer service processes
About You
  • Proven experience leading teams and driving a customer-first culture
  • Experience in a customer service or sales administration leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams in a busy, deadline-driven environment
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to balance service, accuracy, and commercial priorities
