Serving as a true extension of the sales team while leading a customer-focused sales administration and customer service function, this role supports sales growth, strengthens distributor relationships, and ensures consistent, high-quality customer experience across direct and distributor sales channels. The Manager will supervise the daily operations of a small team of Customer Service & Sales Support Administrators and lead, manage, and direct all customer service activities.
In this role, you will:
- Act as an extension of the sales team, supporting daily sales activities and enabling sales growth
- Lead, coach, and develop a sales administration and customer service team supporting direct and distributor channels
- Establish customer service standards, workflows, and communication practices that deliver consistent customer experience
- Own sales administration processes from quotation through order entry and invoicing
- Maintain accurate data and reporting using ERP systems and CRM tools
- Strengthen distributor relationships and enhance long-term customer loyalty
- Serve as the escalation point for customer and distributor issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and finance teams
- Drive continuous improvement in sales support and customer service processes
- Proven experience leading teams and driving a customer-first culture
- Experience in a customer service or sales administration leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams in a busy, deadline-driven environment
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to balance service, accuracy, and commercial priorities
