We are currently searching for a highly motivated Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist to join our team in our [LOCATION] location. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and possess the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

The Treatment Coordinator serves as a liaison between the doctor and the patient. They assist in gathering information during the new patient experience, coordinate a treatment plan with the doctor, and present it to patients. They are knowledgeable about the treatment and timelines, the doctor’s schedule, and are prepared to negotiate financial arrangements with clients. The Treatment Coordinator provides a calm and warm environment for patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about how to afford dentistry.

They also coordinate, as needed, with other offices who share in the care of patients, ensuring that referrals and correspondence are received and followed up on.

  • Greet & check in patients
  • Handle heavy phone volume
  • Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
  • Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
  • Enter patient treatment plans
  • Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
  • Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
  • Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
  • General office duties (printing, faxing, computer data entry, etc.)

Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Dental reception experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn & grow
  • Ability to reliably commute to the office location in [LOCATION], CT
