Position Summary
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The role also includes counting and inspecting inventory, and notifying leadership of any damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and are expected to perform all duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Picking Responsibilities- Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
- Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as required by the client.
- Process all picking functions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
- Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, reporting any damages or discrepancies.
- Manage packaging, shrink wrapping, and labeling to meet quality requirements.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for all quality control tasks.
- Execute all safety protocols and complete job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, assist in warehouse security, and keep work areas tidy.
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate/site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain equipment and report problems promptly.
- Follow prescribed work methods for all equipment use.
- Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

MinimumRequired Qualifications Education and/Or Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse throughout the year, ranging from mild to moderate.

- Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Adaptability to change and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally: handling/fingering, sitting.
- Frequently: bending.
- Constantly: walking and standing.
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
The employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level is usually low to moderate.
