Junior Nursery Assistant

We’re looking for a Junior Nursery Assistant to join our team. You’ll support the daily running of the nursery, assist in planning fun and educational activities, and help ensure our children feel happy, safe, and valued.

• Support the supervisors and nursery assistants with daily routines and activities.
• Help create a caring, stimulating environment that encourages children’s development.
• Supervise playtime, meals, and rest periods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery space.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.

• An interest in the care, learning and development of young children.
• A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities.
• Team player.
• Ability to develop good working relationships with parents.
• Flexibility including the ability to cope with changing needs and demands.
• Approachable and a good listener.
• A childcare Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
