Reed Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer on behalf of our client

The successful candidate will join a growing specialist team operating across Northern Ireland and Ireland. The role involves installing and servicing a wide range of systems, including fire alarms, aspirating systems, disabled refuge, nurse call, toilet alarms, and emergency lighting.

This role is suited to a proactive team player who is ready to contribute to company goals and start as soon as possible.

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday-Friday (with optional overtime available).Salary: £28,000-£35,000 depending on experience.

Role Duties

  • Install fire detection, aspirating systems, emergency lighting, monitoring, disabled refuge, toilet alarms, and nurse call systems
  • Carry out ongoing and reactive maintenance
  • Support customers and internal teams when required
  • Follow company Health & Safety guidelines

Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining fire detection and alarm systems
  • Experience in commercial or construction environments
  • Knowledge of systems from manufacturers such as Ampac, Kentec, Advanced Electronics, Gent, Hochiki, Apollo, Vesda, Airsense, Honeywell, Wagner, Quantec, Ctec, or Baldwin & Boxall (desirable)
  • Basic programming capabilities beneficial
  • City & Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 or equivalent (advantageous)
  • 17th/18th Edition qualification (desirable)
  • Strong commitment to health & safety
  • Full UK driving licence
