Installation Technician
THE EMPLOYER IS: SYNCHRONISED CABLING SOLUTIONS LTD. The role involves assisting with the installation of first‑fix wiring, mounting hardware, and brackets, as well as supporting the setup of equipment such as projectors, LED displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, and equipment racks, followed by power‑on checks prior to commissioning. It also requires effective liaison with internal departments, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery, while maintaining a strong awareness of health and safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities- Assist with the physical installation of first‑fix wiring and mounting hardware, brackets, etc.
- Assist with the physical installation of equipment such as projectors, LED displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, equipment racks, etc., and perform power‑on checks of the equipment in advance of commissioning.
- Liaise with other internal departments, clients and contractors.
- Maintain health and safety awareness at all times.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders and handle the physical demands of setting up and taking down gear.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations for operating AV equipment, especially around the public.
- Ability to learn new skills, e.g., touch‑screen set‑up.
- Willingness to stay up‑to‑date with the latest AV technologies and trends.
- Knowledge of hand tools.

Salary: £7.55 per hour for ages 16–17, £10.00 per hour for ages 18–20, £12.21 per hour for ages 21 or over.
