The job in a nutshell:
Youll take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of electrical installations across a range of building services projects, predominantly throughout Northern Ireland, with occasional travel to ROI and Great Britain when required.
Youll be leading electrical operatives and subcontractors on site, coordinating with mechanical teams and main contractors, keeping projects moving to programme and making sure everything is delivered safely and to a high standard.
Day to day, youll be involved in:
- Managing electrical installations on site
- Supervising direct labour and subcontractors
- Coordinating works with other trades
- Managing labour, materials and site resources
- Monitoring progress against programme
- Attending site meetings with clients and contractors
- Maintaining strong Health & Safety and quality standards
- Reporting progress, labour levels and any potential risks to the Contracts Manager
Should you apply?
If youre an experiencedElectrical Supervisor, Electrical Site Manager or experienced electrical tradesperson ready to step up , this could be a very strong move.
Ideally, youll have:
- A strong electrical trade background
- Experience supervising electrical building services installations
- Good knowledge of commercial electrical installations
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- The ability to lead site teams and manage multiple priorities
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong communication, organisation and planning skills
Qualifications such as SSSTS/SMSTS, ECS Gold Card, CSCS, First Aid, IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous but aren't all essential.
