Gray & Adams Ireland Ltd Job Specification Service Workshop Operative. Gray & Adams (Ireland) Ltd is currently seeking Service Operatives to join its Newtownabbey workshop team. The overall purpose of the job is to service and maintain refrigerated trailers and bodies in accordance with company standards and procedures. Job Requirements :
Undertake servicing and maintenance work on commercial trailers and tail-lifts in accordance with company standards and procedures. Delivering high-quality workmanship with attention to detail. Maintaining good housekeeping and adhering to company Health and Safety policies. Achieving and maintaining proficiency in all aspects of trailer and tail lift servicing as per company procedures. What we are looking for:
Mechanically knowledgeable and proficient in hands-on working. Ability to complete work within required deadlines and allocated hours. Possess the basic knowledge of the principles of Health & Safety within a working environment. Prepared to work overtime and flexible hours when required. Willing to learn different skills and undertake training as required. Have a driving license. You dont need to tick every box to apply.

Full training will be provided, so we also welcome applications from candidates with more basic technical skills who can demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for developing their skills. Desirable

Skills:

Preference may be given to those applicants who have:
City & Guilds Craft Certificate / completed NVQ 3 in Engineering. Manufacturer certificate to service commercial vehicle / trailer suspensions. Knowledge of commercial trailers / tail-lifts.
