Pest Control Technician Northern Ireland

Overview

Vergo is the largest independent national pest service provider in the UK. We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Pest Control Technician to join our team, working in and around Newtownards.

Our comprehensive range of pest management services includes rodent control, bird management, insect control and wildlife management.

You’ll be at the sharp end of our service for commercial, residential and government properties where you will be visiting customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work when the opportunity arises.

Our salary package is up to £29,500.00 based on qualifications and experience. In addition, all of our technicians have the opportunity to increase take home pay by up to £6,000 through leads, commission, bonus schemes and incentives.

Inspect customer sites and carry out pest control treatments in line with company standards and relevant regulations. Promote additional work where appropriate and provide excellent customer service across commercial, residential and government properties.

• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Level 2 RSPH or equivalent
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Live within a 40 mile radius of the advertised area
• Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
• Methodical and systematic in approach to work
• Comfortable using mobile phone apps
• Excellent attention to detail
