This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep mathematical expertise and a sharp eye for rigorous, well-constructed problem-solving.

- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and depth
- Design complex problem statements drawing on your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, rigor, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to push the boundaries of AI mathematical reasoning
- Ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of mathematical accuracy and logical coherence
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
- Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
- Comfortable working with Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or problem-solving applications
- Naturally detail-oriented — you notice when a proof doesn't hold or a derivation goes wrong
- Clear and precise written communicator who can explain complex ideas with confidence
- Fluent in English
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in applied mathematics, mathematical modelling, or computational research
- Experience designing problem sets, assessments, or technical curriculum
- Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI teams
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
