Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a Production/Operations Manager.
Job Location:
Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!
What you will be doing:
- Enforce short- and long-range strategic goals for the manufacturing operations by overseeing manufacturing processes, production control, production metrics, manufacturing throughput efficiencies, direct labor workforce, and capacity control
- Create production related plans, budgets, policies and procedures
- Maintain safety and regulatory compliance relating to the manufacturing process
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of manufacturing operations
- Attend meetings and set forth plans to achieve cost savings objectives, headcount planning, and etc.
- Select appropriate Supervisors to ensure smooth production and work with them to optimize company profitability, provide training as necessary
What you will bring along:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline required
- 10-15 years of experience in production/operations environment with significant manufacturing experience
- Ability to manage 150+ hourly/salaried employees and achieve throughput of divisional sales goals
- Familiarity with AS9100/ISO
9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC - Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude
- Must be able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident in accordance with ITAR Policy
Pay Range:
$100-120k annually
