Industrial Electrician, Automation and Controls

Join us and receive a $5000 sign on bonus! Precious Plate is hiring an Industrial Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will maintain electrical equipment to support manufacturing. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Facilities Manager and Electrical Supervisor.
There are two shifts available for this position:
3rd Shift working 10pm-6am, Monday-Friday
Full overnights working 7pm – 7am or 6pm – 6am (Nights) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment up to 480V
Repair recorders, timers, transducers, controls, fuses, heaters, rectifiers, lamps, motors, motor controls, electrical panels, switches, power supplies, pumps, circuit boards, and soldering equipment
Utilize programmable logic controllers to monitor production machinery; troubleshooting, repairing, and installation
Installation and layout of electrical wireways and cabinets throughout the facilities
Operate various power tools, man lifts, fork trucks, etc.
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration programs according to ISO and TS standards
High school graduate or equivalent
Two (2) year degree in electrical technology OR equivalent experience required

Experience with electrical panel building and diagnosis of electrical circuits
Ability to work from ladders and other elevated work platforms comfortably.
Occasionally works around chemical solutions
Safety glasses, steel or composite toe boots, and hearing protection required
