CDL Driver

The CDL Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client locations. This role operates a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds. This is a local position covering Western and Central NY, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

SIGN-ON BONUS - $5,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year)

• Operate all equipment safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to designated facilities while meeting scheduled appointments.
• Ensure proper placarding of the vehicle in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Maintain accurate paperwork including manifests, job sheets, e-logs, timesheets, expense reports, and inspection reports.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, checking tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and safety equipment.
• Secure all cargo prior to and during transit.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 or older due to interstate commercial driving requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.
• Hazmat endorsement highly preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to use a tablet for electronic logs.
• Must comply with all DOT regulations at all times.

• Ability to climb, bend, lift, and secure hoses and equipment as needed.
• Ability to safely enter and exit commercial vehicles multiple times per shift.
• Must meet DOT medical certification requirements.

• Local regional driving throughout Western/Central NY, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
• Monday–Friday schedule.

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).

Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $47,400.00 - $63,100.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
