Electro-Mechanical Technician - VPS

Requirements and Description

ERMC is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. The candidate will perform maintenance-related work assignments to ensure all facilities & equipment are properly maintained in a safe and reliable working order.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed. Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. Able to effectively use relevant material handling equipment.
• Must have experience repairing and maintaining complex high-volume conveyor equipment.
• Must have training or equivalent for basic AC & DC electricity.
• Experience repairing and maintaining basic mechanical devices required.
• Willing to travel.
• Mechanical and electrical experience

Standard Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing
• Must possess a Government  social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge. Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
