Job Description
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Delivery Operations
* Operate delivery vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety standards
* Navigate assigned delivery routes efficiently using maps and navigational applications
* Locate and deliver orders to designated addresses within the delivery area
* Navigate multi-story buildings and adverse terrain to complete deliveries
* Maintain accurate delivery records and complete associated paperwork
In-Store Support
* Operate all equipment as directed
* Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler
* Prepare products according to company specifications as needed
* Receive and process telephone orders when required
* Maintain cleanliness of designated work areas and equipment on a daily basis
Customer and Team Communication
* Communicate effectively with customers and team members both verbally and in writing
* Process orders accurately over the phone and in person
* Provide professional customer service and service recovery as needed
* Comprehend and execute written instructions correctly
Administrative and Financial Responsibilities
* Process monetary transactions accurately, including calculating change
* Perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with accuracy
* Enter orders using computer keyboards or touch screens
* Maintain precise documentation of deliveries and transactions
