We are seeking to add a Financial Accountant to join our team on our Nicholasville campus. This position will manage accounting principles and procedures to ensure our continued financial health. The ideal candidate is a strong professional with a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail and knowledge of regional laws/regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Comply with accepted accounting transactions. Activity areas include accounts receivable and payable, cash receipts, bank statements, payroll, general and subsidiary ledger entries.
  • Financial reporting preparation and reconciliation, bank statements, budget reporting, and tax. Resolve any discrepancies that may occur.
  • Work with journal entries for accounts payable & receivables, depreciation, closings. Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in year-end reporting. Prepare quarterly and yearly tax reports.
Required:
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to handle information confidentially.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience meeting regular deadlines.
