Superintendent, Construction

• Ensure construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, building codes, and quality standards
• Oversee PQP requirements and testing
• Enforce corporate and regulatory site safety standards
• Lead safety meetings and support development of the Project Specific Safety Program
• Monitor short-term schedules, estimate activity durations and material needs, and track progress toward milestones and completion dates
• Direct field staff and coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources
• Supervise craft workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and maintaining accountability
• Prepare purchase requisitions and review supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Lead daily field operations and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
• Travel to various Ledcor offices and project sites across multiple states

• One to five years of construction experience as a supervisor, lead hand, or in a similar supervisory role
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation methods is a plus, including plowing and Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
• Two-year college, trade, or technical diploma preferred
• Understanding of current construction practices, documents, costs, and budgets
• Ability to plan and manage project schedules and develop solutions for moderate situations within defined guidelines
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to build and manage a diverse team
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Military experience equivalent to 12N Horizontal Construction Engineer and/or 12H Construction Engineering Supervisor
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and work in varied weather conditions
• Must be able to travel to offices and project sites across multiple states
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
