Instructional Assistant (5 Year Old) – Frayser Elementary School ) – Start time 9:40 AM – Job
Location: FRAYSER ELEMENTARY
Closing Date: 6/26/2026
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist the supervising teacher or principal in classroom instruction.
- Tutor students and support individual learning.
- Document pupil progress and assist with record keeping.
- Prepare and organize instructional materials and equipment.
- Serve as an integral member of the instructional program.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Passing score on the Kentucky Para-educator Assessment or 48 semester college hours.
- Competent language skills.
- Experience working with children individually or in groups.
- Participation in program training as specified by the Kentucky Department of Education and the local district.
- Program-specific certifications/training.
Salary
Schedule:
1st Grade 3 (Attached) – $17.43/hr – $19.11/hr.
Critical Need Stipend: $3.50/hr.
Working Calendar: 187 Days / 6.5 Hours.
