Our client is a nationally established engineering firm supporting public and private clients across water resources, civil infrastructure, environmental services, and land development. What You’ll Do
  • Lead hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis for water resources and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage dam safety evaluations, rehabilitation planning, and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Design stormwater systems, utility infrastructure, and stream restoration improvements.
  • Perform floodplain mapping, drainage studies, and watershed analyses.
  • Develop and review H&H models using tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, and Civil 3D.
  • Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Guide projects from concept through permitting, bidding, and construction.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local and state agencies.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory review.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering.
  • Strong background in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, drainage, dam safety, and/or stream restoration.
  • Proficiency with H&H modeling tools (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
  • Experience producing engineering drawings and construction documents.
  • Strong technical writing and regulatory documentation experience.
  • Experience with unsteady flow and 2D hydraulic modeling is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain in Ohio.
  • Proven project management skills, including budgeting and client coordination.
  • Collaborative leadership style and experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
