As we continue to expand our owned asset portfolio, we are seeking an entrepreneurial investment professional to help build the institutional capital platform that will support our next phase of growth.
position overviewthe director of investments & capital markets will partner directly with the ceo to lead financing strategy, capital formation, institutional relationships, and transaction execution across the company's renewable energy portfolio.
this is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys building rather than simply managing. The successful candidate will help shape how the company finances projects, structures investments, deploys capital, and scales into a leading renewable energy asset owner.
this position is not a treasury or accounting role. It is an investment and transaction leadership position focused on creating long-term enterprise value.
primary responsibilities- develop financing strategies for renewable energy projects and portfolios.
- evaluate and structure construction debt, permanent debt, warehouse facilities, revolving credit facilities, sale-leasebacks, preferred equity, tax equity, transferable tax credits, and other financing solutions.
- optimize capital deployment and capital recycling strategies.
lead financing transactions from origination through closing, including:
- financial analysis and modeling
- financing strategy
- lender and investor outreach
- coordination of legal counsel, consultants, and internal stakeholders
develop and manage relationships with:
- commercial banks
- project finance lenders
- infrastructure investors
- tax equity investors
- family offices
- institutional investors
- strategic capital partners
- build a broad network of financing sources to support the company's long-term growth.
- hold versus sell decisions
- portfolio acquisitions and dispositions
- capital recycling opportunities
- joint ventures
- strategic investments
lead initiatives such as:
- establishing warehouse financing facilities
- developing institutional financing programs
- 8–15 years of experience in renewable energy, project finance, infrastructure investing, capital markets, investment banking, or private equity.
- demonstrated experience structuring and closing financing transactions.
- strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- experience negotiating financing structures and commercial terms.

within the first 24 months, the successful candidate will:
- expand the company's network of capital providers.
- lead execution of multiple project and portfolio financing transactions.

- become a trusted strategic advisor to the ceo on investment and capital allocation decisions.
this is an opportunity to help build an institutional-quality renewable energy investment platform from the ground up. Over $100m of signed contracts are already in the pipeline at various stages of development. The successful candidate will work directly with the ceo, influence strategic decisions, and play a key role in shaping the company's long‑term growth and capital strategy.
compensation includes a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus, and long‑term incentive opportunity, commensurate with experience and demonstrated value creation.
