Senior Quantitative Analyst
Job SummaryThe Senior Quantitative Analyst provides quantitative support throughout the Risk or Finance divisions, developing, validating, & maintaining quantitative models (e.g., PD, LGD, ALM, CCAR, QRM, MRM, Economic Capital) and ensuring accurate risk reporting and modeling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide quantitative support throughout the Risk or Finance divisions.
- Implementation, modeling, and validation of quantitative models including PD, LGD, ALM, CCAR, QRM, MRM, and Economic Capital.
- Provide ongoing support to the development and implementation of quantitative and statistical models.
- Develop, maintain, and back‑test models to support respective lines of business.
- Responsibility for ad‑hoc reporting requests for quantitative modeling.
- Incorporate Comerica and Fifth Third data and processes through the integration period.
- Knowledge of Comerica data and processes preferred.
- Advanced degree in quantitative analytics, economics, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in statistical/econometric modeling and database management.
- Experience with Snowflake, SAS (including statistical modeling), and SQL.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Python, R, SAS (statistical modeling), SQL, Git, Amazon Sage Maker, Snowflake, and VBA preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to present a professional image.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to multi‑task & be flexible.
- Prior management experience & evidence of leadership is a plus.
Total Base Pay Range: $82,100–$172,500 annually. Eligible for incentive compensation based on company, line of business, and individual performance.
