We are seeking a Data Solution Architect to join our team. This role will involve designing, architecting, and overseeing scalable, high‑performance data platforms and pipelines within the cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Delta Lake architecture, and PySpark development, and a passion for enabling enterprise analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.

• Architecture & Design: Design and architect end‑to‑end cloud data solutions on Azure utilizing ADF, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, and Azure Synapse/SQL Database.
• Pipeline Implementation: Lead the build‑out of highly scalable batch and real‑time streaming data ingestion and transformation (ETL/ELT) pipelines.
• Data Layer Optimization: Design and optimize Delta Lake structures and medallion data layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Standards & Governance: Define data architecture standards and data modeling guidelines. Ensure data governance, security, and compliance through RBAC, data masking, and encryption.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership, clear strategic direction, and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Performance & Cost Tuning: Monitor and optimize computing performance and cost‑efficiency of active Azure data services.

• Core Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience architecting with Azure Data Factory (pipelines, triggers, integration runtimes), Azure Databricks (PySpark, notebooks, workflows), and Delta Lake Lakehouse architectures.
• Development & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and advanced SQL.
• Data Modeling: Deep expertise in data modeling patterns, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Ingestion Patterns: Proven knowledge of working with various data ingestion methods, such as APIs, files, Change Data Capture (CDC), and streaming.
• Storage & Systems: Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) and Azure Synapse Analytics or SQL Server.
• Dev Ops & Infrastructure: Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops/Git Hub), Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM templates or Terraform), and system monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Preferred Certifications & Tools: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP‑203) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications; familiarity with Power BI, Event Hub, Kafka, or ML integration with Databricks is highly preferred.
