Fabrication​/Production Assemblers - 2nd shift

Donaldson is committed to solving the world's most complex filtration challenges. We are seeking an Assembler to work at our Nicholasville, KY location during 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday, 3 p.m. to 1 a.m.). This onsite role assembles Industrial Air Filtration systems in an innovative, team-oriented environment.

• Gather relevant blueprints and build sheets, necessary parts, and hardware for assembly
• Use mechanical ability, work instructions, and hand tools to assemble products
• Test equipment when necessary
• Operate overhead cranes and lifting devices
• Handle and transport material and product
• Perform quality inspection and complete necessary paperwork for records
• Package, crate, and load assembled products for shipment
• Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures
• Participate actively in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen events
• Complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material Training (if applicable)

• Experience with material handling using forklifts, cranes, carts, etc.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Quality conscious
• Ability to read blueprints and understand verbal and written instructions
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus prior experience

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for a highly customized product line
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks in a steady work environment
