Position Title:

Machine Operator

Wage: $17.00-$19.20 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

12:00am-9:00am (Sun-Thurs)

Location:

Fairfield, IA

Entry Level Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Cut, trim, hammer, and weld plastic parts using equipment such as saws, robots, pneumatic tools, and dedicated fixtures.
• Install components according to work instructions using various equipment.
• Trim excess material off parts using a knife.
• Verify all required components are installed on parts prior to packaging.
• Inspect parts for quality; reject all non-conforming parts and place them in the designated area.
• Perform minor adjustments on blow molding equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Entry Level Machine Operator Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. non-repetitively and 10–20 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in extreme heat.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and directions.
• Fluency in English to read policies, procedures, and communicate effectively.
