Shipping Helper

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Measuring equipment to be shipped to determine pallet sizes required
• Building pallets using a miter saw, tape measure and a nail gun
• Gathering various types of product to be shipped
• Packing or palletizing products
• Checking orders for accuracy prior to shipping
• Correctly labeling products prior to shipping
• Loading freight in an efficient and safe manner
• Working in a fast paced environment and dealing with multiple people at one time
• Recording shipments into the computer database using E2 Shop System
• Performing shipping duties as required per the appropriate SOP’s
• Reporting defective materials to the department leader
• Maintaining a safe, neat, and orderly work area
• Following safety regulations.
• Performing other duties as directed
• Following direction from the shipping manager

You may be required to lift 50+ pounds. This job may be required standing for long periods, bending, squatting, and/or kneeling. This is a permanent, full time, first shift position. Overtime may be required. Good attendance is required. Must be able to pass a drug screen.

This is a full time, permanent first shift job.
