OverviewThe Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute’s mission is to improve health in Ohio and across the world through research, education, and patient care. As a Staff Nurse in the Hematology and Transplant department, you will play a critical role in patient engagement, experience, quality and safety, and cost‑effective care.
ResponsibilitiesThe Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to patients and their families, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient‑care team. Tasks include assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model.
Qualifications- Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program.
- Current Ohio license or interim permit.
- Experience in a relevant care setting preferred.
