Plant Maintenance Technician

Top Cat Concrete is a ready mix concrete producer located in Central Ohio. We are looking for a maintenance technician for 2 concrete plants in Westerville and Hebron, OH. Candidate must possess strong mechanical abilities and their own set of tools.

Requirements:

• Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and other machines
• Mechanical knowledge and strong troubleshooting abilities
• Available to work weekends along with flexible hours as well as an excess of 40 hours per week as needed
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems
• Entry level welding experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Heavy equipment experience a plus, but not required
• Experience working in ready mix concrete industry a plus, but not required

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assist maintenance team in troubleshooting problems with plant equipment and make repairs as necessary
• Perform daily inspections of plant components and equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Other miscellaneous duties include but not limited to; general labor, shoveling, and performing necessary equipment and plant component maintenance
• Comply with all safety regulations, maintain work areas and adhere to OSHA safety guidelines
• Operate various pieces of equipment like front end loaders and backhoes

Experience:

• 1 + year experience working in maintenance operations with a ready mix concrete company.
