Job Description
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential and commercial settings. This role requires frequent local travel and collaboration within a small team to ensure efficient service delivery. Proficiency with standard HVAC tools and digital diagnostic technologies is essential to accurately diagnose and resolve system issues while adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Utilize standard HVAC hand tools and digital diagnostic tools for service tasks
- Travel frequently within the local area to service customer sites
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding system conditions and repairs
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices on job sites
- Document service actions using mobile service applications
- Collaborate with small team members to optimize service delivery
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Proficiency in electrical wiring
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Effective customer communication skills
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent time management
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA Certification
