Northeast Ohio | Seasonal Winter Position
Brian-Kyles is hiring Plow Truck & Salt Drivers for the upcoming winter season.
You will be responsible for safely operating company plow trucks and salt-spreading equipment to keep commercial properties safe and accessible during snow and ice events.
We are looking for dependable drivers who are comfortable driving in winter weather and understand the importance of showing up when the storm hits.
What You'll Do- Operate company plow trucks and salt-spreading equipment
- Plow commercial parking lots, drives, and other assigned properties
- Apply salt and deicing materials according to property needs
- Follow assigned routes and complete properties efficiently
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report equipment issues or property concerns to supervisors
- Maintain communication with supervisors during snow events
- Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws
- Keep assigned equipment clean and ready for the next storm
- Previous snow plowing or commercial winter driving experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- CDL preferred for applicable equipment/positions
- Ability to safely operate a truck with a plow and salt spreader
- Comfortable driving during snow, ice, darkness, and poor visibility
- Dependable and responsive when called for a snow event
- Ability to work overnight, early morning, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Good communication skills
- Working long hours during major storms
- Driving in winter conditions
- Working independently after receiving your route
- Being available on short notice when weather conditions require it
- Working outside in cold temperatures when inspecting or servicing equipment
Snow removal is weather-dependent
. Hours will vary based on storms and may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
Seasonal winter position with the potential for additional work based on company needs.
