Job Title: Receiving Clerk

Location: Nicholasville, KY

Shifts: 1st shift Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm
Overtime as needed

Pay Rate: $15.00 to $17.00 based on experience

We're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and operating a forklift. What you'll do:

• Receiving:
  • Unpack, examine, verifypart numbers, count and condition, rejectdamaged or incorrect items, labelthe parts, and finally records the receipts in system.
  • Correspondwith buyers rejected receipts
  • Storeall rejected parts in Holding Area, exceptions on quantities and dates
  • Storereceived parts into proper location in a FIFO manner.
  • Maintain control over raw material and finished goods inventory including the physical and transactional aspect.
• Kitting:
  • Pulling, counting, labeling, issuing parts to production work orders, including both the physical and transactional aspect.
  • Determine shortages and communicates them. (This process requires significant system interaction)
• Cycle Counting:
  • Count selected parts in inventory and compare to quantity on hand in our system
  • Problem solve differences
  • Record approved cycle counts in the system.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Operateforklift
• Operatepallet jack to convey
• Move materials to proper departments or areas.
• Frequently lifting and/or moving items up to 50 pounds
• May besubjected to hot and cold temperatures.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and
  climbing throughout the day
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must comply with client's substance abuse and background policy
• High school Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Drivers License
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
• 1 year of previous shipping and receiving experience
• 1 year of previous forklift experience
• Basic Computer and keyboard skills
• Stable work history in the last 7 - 10 years
• Experience using inventory management or ERP software preferred.
