As our Sales & Use Tax Manager, you’ll own and elevate the company’s sales and use tax function setting the standard for compliance, accuracy, and process excellence across the organization. This is a highly visible role with real influence, where your expertise will directly shape tax strategy, reduce risk, and support key business initiatives.
You’ll lead all aspects of sales and use tax compliance while partnering closely with Finance, IT, Procurement, and other teams to improve systems, streamline workflows, and deliver insights that inform better business decisions. Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end sales and use tax compliance process, ensuring timely and accurate filings across all jurisdictions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales and use tax matters, managing the tax inbox, data, and internal/external inquiries
- Lead sales and use tax audits, including audit preparation, communication with tax authorities, and resolution of findings
- Research and advise on complex tax issues, providing practical guidance to internal stakeholders and supporting broader tax strategy
- Partner on the implementation and optimization of SAP S/4
HANA and an Exemption Certificate Management system to improve efficiency and accuracy - Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, AP, Customer Service, IT, and other teams to ensure consistent and compliant tax reporting
- Manage external consultants and contribute to enterprise-wide projects that strengthen tax operations and business outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including 5+ years focused on sales and use tax compliance
- Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4
HANA - Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with VAT is a plus
