Responsibilities of the Full Time Activity Aide:- The Activity Aide will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents.
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing programs and events.
- Play games and make crafts with mobile residents.
- Visit bed residents on a one-to-one basis.
- Participate in resident assessment and discharge planning.
- May assist with resident mail delivery.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Event planning experience.
- Two (2) years of experience in Long-Term Care with experience with Dementia patients preferred.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Positive, energetic and engaging demeanor.
- Polish speaking a huge plus!
- High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults.
