Manager, Machine Learning Engineering

Position Responsibilities:

• Create multi-year strategy for design, development, and integration of transformational ML/AI solutions to enable to continued success of our business partners, i.e., Sales and Field Operations, Supply Chain,

• Manage the full lifecycle of data science projects from business engagement to technical execution and delivery
• Own the definition and continued updating of team technical best practices from version control to ML Operations
• Lead and mentor staff to enable their transformation to new positions
• Enable future readiness across the business by fostering agility, promoting continuous learning, adopting advanced technologies, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration
• Other projects or duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Math, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 to 7 plus years of related experience and 3 plus years of management experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree with 9 plus years of specific experience and 3 plus years of management experience
• 5 to 7 plus years of experience developing custom machine learning models and big data solutions using Python and SQL, including experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and version control tools (Git, Azure Dev Ops).
• 5 to 6 plus years implementing scalable ML/AI infrastructure and enterprise architecture
• 5 plus years in software development, including:
  • Managing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops)
  • Implementing robust testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• 3 plus years with job scheduling tools, i.e., cron jobs and Jenkins, etc. to build automated end-to-end data pipelines with various file types, such as JSON and Parquet, and sharing methods, such as SFTP, blob, and API

• Master’s Degree
