Position Overview

Project Managers lead our production activities in the field, making decisions that impact the success of the assignment. They perform various tasks, monitor and inspect tasks for commercial and residential restoration jobs to ensure completion of drying, demolition, and other restoration activities. They prepare and review documentation, including notes, photos, and reports, according to company policies. They explain processes to customers, supervise technicians, and must possess excellent technical and customer service skills to handle difficult situations.

They may assist or create estimates in Xactimate, requiring a basic understanding of construction materials affected by various damages. They help clients, support company growth, and ensure job quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Retrieve work orders, check routes, ensure equipment and supplies are loaded, and arrive at work sites.
  • Complete jobs according to processes and maintain quality within budget.
  • Monitor active jobs, communicate with customers, and document job progress.
  • Create and review estimates, inspect and scope jobs onsite, and upload documentation and photos.
  • Explain drying and restoration processes to customers, interface with insurance adjusters, and perform quality assurance inspections.
  • Train new technicians and prepare documentation for insurance reimbursement.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance restoration or construction industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Experience managing teams and entering data via mobile devices.
  • Certifications such as ASD, FSRT, OCT, or WRT are preferred.

Physical Demands and Conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.
  • Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments, safety equipment, and environmental conditions.
