Position:
Collaborative Registered Nurse, Oncology
Location:
Evanston Hospital/Kellogg Cancer Center
Full Time | 40 hours/week
Responsibilities Include- Providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to oncology patients
- Utilizing the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Leading and guiding unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Promoting safety and high-quality patient experiences
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
- Current CPR certification; OCN/ONS certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion experience; ED, ICU, or PACU experience highly preferred if no oncology experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and guide others
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
