We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeping & Payroll Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role overseeing day‑to‑day bookkeeping and payroll operations. The right person works independently, takes ownership, and doesn’t need to be micromanaged.
This position offers a flexible seasonal schedule — reduced hours during the off‑season with full‑time hours during tax season. Great work‑life balance most of the year with the ability to roll up your sleeves when it counts.
Qualifications- 3-5 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Experience with Quick Books and/or Accounting CS
- Familiarity with Lacerte, Ultra Tax, Smart Vault, or Financial Cents a plus
- Strong attention to detail, self‑starter, follows through
- Manage a Quick Books client portfolio
- Process payroll
- Prepare financial statements
Onboard new clients - Assist with tax season
Starts at $24 per hour commensurate with experience, plus profit sharing bonus.
