  • Follow the Choral Director’s cues, tempo changes, and interpretation of the music. Assist in maintaining a focused, productive rehearsal atmosphere.
  • Accompany soloists or small ensembles preparing for solo and ensemble festivals, auditions, or talent shows.
  • Sight‑read new literature efficiently and smoothly transition between diverse musical styles, from classical and folk to pop, jazz, and musical theater.
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
  • Advanced proficiency in piano performance, with stellar sight‑reading skills and the ability to read open choral scores (3‑4 separate vocal staves simultaneously).
  • Previous experience accompanying choirs, vocal soloists, or working in an educational/theatrical setting is highly preferred.
