Job Summary

Join Our Client as a Control Room Operator wanted in Niles, MI a leading energy team maximizing reliability. Requires a HS diploma, extensive combined-cycle power plant experience, and large-frame gas turbine expertise.

Salary: $95, per year

Work Hours:

8am to 5pm

• Operate and monitor combined-cycle generation equipment including GE 7HA.02 combustion turbines, HRSGs, and steam turbines from both the control room and the field.
• Optimize plant efficiency and emissions compliance using DCS, PLCs, and other control interfaces to adjust critical operating parameters.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve abnormal equipment conditions and alarms, taking swift corrective action (including overriding automatic controls) during emergencies.
• Support safety and maintenance standards by conducting routine rounds, maintaining detailed operating logs, and performing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) isolations.
• Collaborate across teams to assist with operator training, plant inspections, and ensuring total alignment with environmental and regulatory compliance programs.
